The 'LSP-R' is the 800-pound gorilla of the truggy scene. Featuring 7075-T6 aluminium, carbon fibre, hardened diffs, more aluminium than you can shake a stick at...this is the monster that keeps other trucks awake at night!
Let's start with the biggies: A long wheelbase chassis made from 7075-T6 aluminium keeps everything in place and is the backbone of this monster. With front and rear chassis braces, plus an aluminium rear chassis brace mount, this is one stiff beast! Adding to the overall rigidity of the Lightning Stadium Pro-R is the carbon fibre radio tray and center gearbox brace. The low-profile radio tray and fuel tank add to the truck's racing pedigree.
The engine (not included) sits on finned heatsink mounts and spins up a 3-piece racing clutch, which turns a sealed & hardened center differential. Front and rear centre CVA driveshafts turn the front and rear diffs, which also feature a sealed and hardened construction. Spiral-cut bevel gears increase efficiency and durability! The entire drivetrain spins on rubber sealed bearings, and stops using a triple-disc brake system (2 front, 1 rear) which is adjustable for the ultimate in control under braking!
The suspension uses long-stroke shocks featuring aluminium bodies and 3.5mm shafts and rubber boots to keep out dust for longer times between rebuilds. Burly 4mm thick 7075-T6 aluminium shock towers take the punishment of long races and provide a multitude of shock mounting holes. Long aluminium suspension arms keep things in check, and not only are the steering knuckles CNC-machines, but the pivot blocks are too! This is truly one tough machine. Set screws are used for the hinge pins for extra insurance in those long final races. Front and rear sway bars keep everything planted in the corners. For increased adjustability, three sets of springs are included for the front and rear. Putting the traction to the ground is a set of ultra-soft 'Cross Lug' tyres.
Topping everything off is a clear low-profile stadium truck racing body, ready for you to style up with your colours! For increased handling potential, a sturdy rear wing is included for increased grip in the corners and at high speed!
